Individual eyelashes, or classic eyelashes, are a technique used to provide this service. It is called “individual eyelashes” because the eyelash technician applies an individual classic eyelash extension to an individual natural eyelash extension. Classic eyelash extensions are those in which an extension is applied individually to a natural eyelash. It's sometimes called “one-to-one” because it's an extension of an eyelash.
An eyelash artist dips the end of an individual extension in adhesive, then applies it over or under the natural lash, and repeats until each medium and mature lash is ready. Choosing hybrid extensions gives your customers the best of both worlds. The look is achieved by mixing classic eyelashes and volume eyelashes that are strategically placed to frame the eyes. Hybrid extensions offer a variety of textures and more volume, but without the sometimes unnatural look of voluminous eyelashes. For clients who want a lash line with a little more volume, but not as much as volume extensions, this technique will provide the perfect balance. On the other hand, those with a weak and sparse appearance of eyelashes would be ideal for voluminous eyelash extensions.
Alternatively, opt for tabs with a very light volume, such as the 2D-3D ones; this is where the fans only have 2 or 3 tabs. If you've never had your eyelashes done before, classic extensions are a good starting point to get an idea of the treatment in general. Don't worry so much when you have thick, brown eyelashes, classic eyelash extensions might be all you need.
